Belinda is an experienced surveyor with a diverse portfolio.  She completed her Bachelor of Surveying in 1991 and became a registered surveyor in 1998. After registration Belinda worked in Brunei, Hong Kong and New Zealand, strengthening her knowledge and experience of aerial photogrammetry, subdivision design and management, GIS data gathering, boundary definition and repegs, as well as hydrographic surveying of lakes and sea beds.

Becoming licensed saw her involvement in subdivision design increase and she took on more project management and contract supervision roles. She had been a part of both small and large business before making the move to found her own company Belinda Willis & Partners in 2005. In 2012 the same team merged into GeoSync, and established the premises in New Plymouth. 

GeoSync attracts its customers through personal, exceptional communication and an ability to keep it real. Our objectives are to always to do a job well, on time, and in the most efficient way possible while upholding the standards and accuracies our land surveying profession is renowned for.

After working in Auckland's real estate market for two years, Katie decided for a lifestyle change and is now embracing Taranaki and her role as Office Manager. Katie is not only the go-to person for the team but is also actively involved in growing GeoSync's region wide profile.

Katherine Turton

GeoSync Surveyor and 

UAV Specialist, BSc

Katherine graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree.

She majored in Geological Sciences but kept her studies broad developing a strong background in Biology, Chemistry and GIS.

Since relocating to Taranaki at the start of 2018, she joined the GeoSync team and has been training in field and drone surveying.

Scott Willis

Software Engineer

Scott is the backbone of the organisation providing technical support in all things computer and process related. An ideas man, he is behind a lot of the systems GeoSync utilises and encourages use of the latest technologies both in the cloud and on the ground. Having spent several years working for Trimble developing data collection software, his knowledge of the surveying industry is outstanding.
